It’s back to school!
This is the time to remember the existence of this Committee and the protocol. And this reminder is not just for Committee members, but for everyone.

Inform the school team during a meeting with staff. Clarify the role of the Emergency Committee, introduce the members and inform staff of the important role they have to play during these events. Answer questions. Present the action plan.

During a welcome meeting, inform and reassure students that the school is well prepared and that they will not be left out should a dramatic event occur during the year.
Inform parents through a mass message or the school’s newsletter that the school is ready to intervene should a death occur at the school, that they will be informed of the actions and that their children will be guided through appropriate practices.
Inform staff
Inform staff of the code that will be used should an event occur while students are in class.
